Stranger Things Inspired – Eddie Munson Cocktail

This week’s cocktail is inspired by this season’s Stranger Things season 4, character Eddie Munson. Eddie Munson is a freaky metalhead dungeon master who loves Metallica and won our hearts when playing Master Of Puppets in the upside world. That guitar solo brought out that eighties girl that loved metal so much. So this week it had to be a cocktail inspired by my favourite Netflix series.

Ingredients

Eddie Munson Stranger Things Cocktail

• 1 1/2 oz black rum
• 3/4 oz crème de cacao
• 1 cup ice
• Black food colour
• 1 tablespoon brown sugar

Instructions – How to Make Stranger Things Cocktail

• In a cocktail shaker, combine black rum, crème de cacao, ice, and two drops of black food colouring. Shake well.
• Add brown sugar and one drop of black food colouring to a bowl at this time. Blend until all the sugar is dark. A cocktail glass’s rim should be wetted with water. Enter the black sugar with the rim.
• Pour the cocktail into the glass after straining it.
• Make sure to play Metallica’s “Master of Puppets” really loud and then
• Enjoy your original Stranger Things Eddie Munson Cocktail, while rocking away.

Hellfire Club Cocktail

An effortless-to-make cocktail at the intersection of all stranger things, the Hellfire cocktail will appeal to Hellfire Club fans. The Hellfire cocktail combines fresh lime juice, spiced rum, Tabasco sauce, ginger beer and pilsner. It has a hint of spiced sweetness thanks to the rum and a slight zing from the Tabasco sauce. To increase the heat level, play around with the amount of sauce, but do so with caution- you can always add more, but liquid ingredients can’t be removed once they’re in the drink.  

Ingredients

• 1 Lime
• 1 shot of spiced rum
• 2 dashes of Tabasco sauce
• 125 MLS ginger beer
• Pilsner, chilled, to top

Directions

Press the juice from the lime into a cocktail glass.

Fill the cocktail glass with ice and add the rum, tabasco and ginger beer.

Top with the pilsner and swirl gently to blend.
