Everyone wants to prepare delicious, nutritious suppers in the least amount of time feasible. You can make the seven meals listed in this post in under 15 minutes with ingredients from your pantry or any nearby grocery store.

Pizza Jaffles

I adore pizza and so do my family and friends.

Pizza is pretty healthy compared to many other recipes if you want it to be. It’s a delicious idea to combine your favourite pizza flavours into pizza jaffles, which are sandwiched between two slices of bread.

  • 2 large tomatoes

Ingredients

  • 6 cups chicken stock
  • 1 small piece of ginger
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 20 wontons, 
  • 1 1/2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 4 baby bok choy, 
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Directions

The ginger and garlic are first simmered for five minutes in the chicken stock to give the soup a superb flavour. Add the wontons and mushrooms after cooking the bok choy for five minutes. After a few minutes of boiling, whisk in the soy sauce and sesame oil and serve in bowls..

Variations

  • For the veggies, I used baby bok choy along with mushrooms, but you can use any vegetables. Sometimes I used frozen carrots, peas and corn
  • Add use prawns or cooked chicken.

Pasta Carbonara

The easiest and the quickest dish that you will ever make with only 6 ingredients. So simple.

Ingredients

  • 375g spaghetti
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 200g shortcut bacon
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 2/3 cup parmesan cheese
  • Parsley leaves

Directions

Cook pasta in a pot of salted boiling water until al dente, drain pasta.

Over medium-high heat, warm oil in a frying pan. Add bacon. Cook till crispy

In a bowl, combine the eggs, egg yolks, cream, cheese and pepper.

Add pasta with the bacon and egg mixture. Cook for one minute while tossing over low heat. Add parsley on top. Serve.

Honey Garlic Chicken

Honey garlic chicken is the only ingredient in this 15-minute, 5-ingredient meal.

Ingredients

  • 2 teaspoons olive oil
  • 1 1/2 kilograms of chicken breasts, cut into small pieces
  • Salt and black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic,
  • 1/4 teaspoon chilli flakes

Directions

Over some heat, warm the olive oil in the pan.

Season chicken with some salt and pepper

Now brown the chicken on both sides in the pan.

It’s time to make the chicken glaze. In a bowl, combine the honey, soy sauce, garlic, and chilli flakes.

Toss the chicken pieces in the sauce in the pan until they are completely covered. Cook the chicken until it is fully done.

Serve alongside vegetables or salad and steamed or fried rice.

Coconut Curry Noodle Soup

Ingredients  

  • 2 tbsp coconut oil
  • 800 grams of chicken breast
  • 4 tbsp red curry paste
  • 1-litre chicken stock
  • 400 ml coconut milk
  • 4 lime leaves, thinly sliced
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 cups baby spinach leaves
  • 400 grams of rice noodles
  • 1 cup bean sprouts
  • 125 grams  coriander
  • 1 chilli 

Directions

Cook the chicken breasts in a hot pan with a little vegetable oil until they are well-browned on both sides.

While the chicken is cooking, the following ingredients should be prepared, and the water for the noodles should be brought to a boil.

The chicken should be taken out of the pan. Add the curry paste to the same pan and let it simmer for a while. While the paste simmers, chop the chicken into pieces.

Cook the chicken for 10 minutes, or until cooked through. Add the for the last few minutes.

Add spinach leaves and season the dish with salt

The noodles should be cooked and drained while the soup is simmering.

Place some noodles in the bottom of each bowl before adding the broth and sprouts.

Chicken Tortillas

Ingredients

  •  Tortillas
  • 500g Chicken Breast Fillets
  • 1 Lime
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 2 Capsicums
  • 1 Red Onion,
  • Baby Spinach
  • Crushed Peanuts 

Instructions

Add lime juice and thinly sliced chicken to a bowl and mix in. In a pan, warm up half the oil over medium heat. Place the chicken once cooked onto a plate. Wrap contents in some foil.

In the frying pan, heat the remaining oil. The onion and capsicum should be pan-fried until cooked.

Reheat tortillas.

Add the baby spinach leaves, chicken, and a capsicum mixture that should be placed inside the tortillas. Add some peanuts to the top and then roll the contents
